I'm finally here. After a LONG flight and much exhaustion, I'm just about ready for bed. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment with people jabbering away and signs everywhere that mean nothing to me, but am hoping that a few hours sleep will help. I'll in a small, but nice, dorm room for a month, while I help out with a camp. The good news is I'll have internet access here the whole time for free and then after I move to my apartment, I'll still be able to use cafes that I saw on the street. The English Friends employee that picked me up at the airport took me and another married, from New Zealand, couple out for a nice Korean meal....all vegetarian, I might add. It was very good. I think I already know I'm gonna like Korean food much more than Filipino. I have to go to school tomorrow too. I know I'm gonna be super tired. I'm not so much looking forward to that, but ah....if I had the day to just wander outside by myself, I might feel a bit daunted anyhow. All I keep hearing is.....blah blah blah say-o....or blah blah blah...im-ne-da. That's about all I catch and have no idea even what it is. Time. Just give me time. It's absolutely FREEZING here, by the way. Not much snow, but bone-chilling cold. This is when I'm glad I brought big wool sweaters with me. Think I'm done for now. It's about time to collapse in bed and get at least a few hours sleep.
